Help me decide ...
Could you help me decide between these three:
http://www.blowers-jewellers.co.uk/i...ual_116000.htm http://www.demesy.com/p/50919.html http://www.demesy.com/p/48643.html I just used these links for the pictures only (our IT at work blocks photobucket). I'm leaning towards the 116000 first, DJ second. I'm going to purchase this week ... tough decision. |

For me, #2, easy. I added the pix for you below.....
I'm not a fan of the concentric SCOC lettering on the 1st one (11600). The 2nd one is a classic combo and has a date (16200). The 3rd one's size (34mm) and dial color (rose) is a no-go for me (15210). |

Of those 3, I would choose the 116000 any day of the week. Why? To me it just looks better, and I think that special dial is really really cool looking.
(however, I think I will be pretty alone saying this... Guessing the roman numerals are going to be favored more ) Good luck with you purchase! Cheers, Joe

#1 gave me an initial thrill; however, will it hold up over time. Said another way, will it seem dated or cartoonish in ten years. For me, I would go with #2, classic and it will always work.

That thought occurred to me, too. I have an 115200 Date model with the classic smooth bezel / silver baton dial. The second watch is something fairly different to compliment it. I also wonder if the radical (for Rolex) dial on this 116000 will grow old over time.

#2. Simple yet elegant. The other two are very unsightly, IMHO.
