Dials with Rolex signature on the back
When did Rolex start engraving their name and serial number on the back of all dials?
Does anyone know what the serial stand for?

Not sure when Rolex started putting their name on the back of dials, but the code (MA3) looks similar to clasp codes.
For example, in this case, MA=2005 and 3 would indicate the 3rd month (March). My guess would be this dial is from a D serial watch. |
