116200 DJ Question
Do all new Datejusts have the alternating red/black date?
The AD told me only some of them have it on a random basis, does sound right to me. Is this a V serial enhancement? Thanks. |

Not all DJs have the alternating date....it depends on the dial you choose.

The red/black comes with some specific dials, not randomly. It was over a year ago so I don't have a link, but I saw a thread that specified which ones get the red/black date wheel.

I don't recall where I saw it (it was at least a year ago), but specific color dials came with the red/black date wheel. It was not random.

I saw it on one with the black dial. Looked pretty pretty nice.
What do others think? |

I'm not sure what to make of the Roulette wheel....Part of me thinks that the DJ is a classic design for dressier occassions, so the red date is a little out of place. Another part of me says that a little harmless flair never hurts, and it helps dress down the watch.
I suppose my short answer is, it could be interesting, but it's definitely not on my checklist for DJ must-haves. |

As people above have said, it depends on the dial you choose - they're marked in ADs' master catalogues in the dials section with an asterisk

I love the roulette wheel also ! My Z series 116200 does not have it (roman white dial).
