I can understand how you feel, Alex....but you'll be hard pressed to find anyone on this forum with a DATE model only. Plenty of DJ owners....but DATE....hardly any I know.

Mr. JJ, do you know me??
Okay, I've stared at this long enough without putting up the photos...
My two oldest Rolex pieces...still keeping great time after last year's recent service...and still worn on a regular basis. The SS is 31 years old, the Gold is 18 years old. Not all of us have only DJ's. Also in my collection...a mid YM TT, two Tudor mini subs (one SS, one TT), a Tissot PR516GL and a Dudley Do-Right cartoon character watch by Buren. Cheers. |

You posted something and expected people to take pics and got insulted within 4 hours? It took me 4 months to get pics of my Date Just online. Anyway please be patient. I would have waited 24 hours to give all the regulars a chance to come online and post.
What is the difference between a Date and a Datejust anyway? |

Hello Alex
I didn't vote because your selection is too varied with respect to price. A DJ may set you back around US$2,000-$4,000, whereas a vintage Daytona will cost around US$30,000, and the rest fall somewhere in between. Since it's based on whether your Dad can afford it or not, I would say that a vintage Daytona won't be in the "choice". The question is, which one do YOU like the most? Good luck. John. |

Sorry, Alex. I only have DJs. The Date would be much too small for me.
