cream sticks on white dial TT Lady Datejust

Wow, who knew? The short story is that after purchasing a brand new Lady Datejust through my AD (ordered fresh from NYC), I sadly had to have it returned after a month since there was something wrong with it. Dealer was great about it. It was the white dial with crisp white sticks. When he received the 2nd brand new watch, I noticed immediately that the sticks were a different color -- and they were also slightly thinner and less chunky, though still raised. I loved it! First of all, it was/is easier to read, the color is almost a soft "banana yellow" and it retains it's clean profile, but w/a hint more elegance. The first watch I had was a V serial, w/PT on the clasp. This new watch is also a V serial but the clasp is LT3, so I think it's a bit newer. No photo because I am inept at this, but I'm curious if anyone else has discovered this?? TIA

PS: This is my first post, but I have learned (and continue to learn) an enormous amt. of valuable material. Thank so much.
