I'm almost afraid to ask...bezel protector question.
When you buy a New 16600 M serial Sea-Dweller, is it supposed to come with a bezel protector?
It's not a big deal to me.. I'm just curious.

I went back to my AD and asked for one. He pulled out a box of them and gave me two. I would check with your AD or see one. It seems like a lot of them pull them off when they put in the display box. Good luck!!

It is different to the protector supplied to the Sub date, check carefully if you find one. The SD protector does not have a notch cut out for the winding crown and is also slightly smaller than the Sub date protector.

It did come from an AD and was shipped from out of state. It didn't have one on it or in the box, so I figured I would check with you guys first.
It is for my father-in-law's birthday in August. Thanks

I have bought them that came with the protector and bought them that did not. I don't worry about it really. My LV I just bought did not have the bezel protector but did come with the box that it was shipped in to the AD from RUSA.

I wouldn't worry Marie. My LV didn't come with one nor did my GMT. Other than protecting the bezel from the factory in route to the AD, I don't think it has a purpose.

Why do you think I was afraid to even bring it up? I may not have been here for that thread...but I did read it.

The bezel protector is just packaging to protect watch in transit from Switzerland to AD.Many ADs just discard them at purchase after all you would not wear the watch with the bezel protector on would you.In reality its just a piece of plastic, and of no use when wearing the watch in normal watch wearing life.

Wouldn't worry about-makes no difference as long as bezel was not scratched. You won't be wearing a bezel protector--so no big deal--Enjoy!!!

There's no telling what an AD will give you with the watch. My local AD throws out the bezel protectors and the two foam sheets that are in the box, so you get the boxes, watch, booklets, and tags. It's also common for them to use different sized boxes all the time for SS Sport models.

The last one you send back and it was fitted with a TT Jubilee band that Submariner. You don't think I will see that?
You keep the battery too. Thats why you don't get the protector on the last one. I still have them. Next time I hope you send me the notepad. But please not in the orginal box.
