Movement feels loose?

Im probably just panicking alittle here but the movement in my sub feels like its loose. If I hold it flat in my palm and lightly move it up and down I feel something like a spring vibrating. Keep in mind im not shaking it really fast. Just lightly. My dad has 2 newer subs compared to mine but 1 has a little of that spring feeling and the other feels solid. So my question is, is that normal, or is that just the rotor? Thanks

Its most properly the winding rotor if your watch is keeping time and holding its power reserve. And there is no pronounced rubbing noise then all is well with your watch. How old is your watch has it been serviced the movement is well secured in the case and cannot move only the winding rotor swings 360o like a pendulum.

Did you get the service paperwork to go along with the watch, if not ask the store for its paperwork on what is inside the watch.

They have a watch maker at the shop so I doubt they sent it to Rolex.

Still they should provide you with a detail of what they done to the watch before selling it to you.

My watch repair man is working on my 1520 submariner movement and he is documenting everyting he does. The movement is the heart of the watch and if the movement is not cleaned as per Rolex, damage can occure.
