Gold Daytona being sold at a NYC Costco
I know people have posted they have seen Rolex watches at Costco before but I was beyond shocked when I was in the NYC Costco yesterday and saw a Gold Rolex Daytona with Leather Strap for $14,500. I didn't have a camera or my phone on me so I could not snap a photo but it was this watch.

Yes the one in Harlem on 116th Street. Yeah the price isn't bad. Not sure what year it was though. Do the newer Gold Daytonas have Rolex engraved on the Rehaut? This model didn't but I wasn't sure if the Gold Daytona's have this nor not. |

If it doesn't have the rehaut inscription then it is likely to be second hand, at least 3 years old.
$14,500 is far too strong for a second hand 116518. Perhaps I'll write Mr Costco a letter and tell him that he must get with the programme.

They had a women's TT Datejust with the fluted yellow gold bezel with the 12 diamonds embedded in it. It was priced at $10,500. They also had a couple of Omega's but I didn't look closely at these watches since I am not a huge Omega fan.

It might not be secondhand. Very well could be just new, old stock. There have been plenty of Rolexes that have sat at ADs for years before they were eventually acquired (either thru the AD or thru a subsequent grey market source)......

I think it was new but definitely an older model that was probably sitting at an AD for a while. One thing I also noticed is there were no stickers on the model.

Interesting. Considering the area, I would find it hard to see that one flying off the Costco shelf.
