which side favored for Ladies Datejust link removal

Had 3 links removed from my Ladies Datejust jubilee bracelet; 2 from the 12 o'clock side, 1 from the 6 o'clock side. Is this the "standard" way for an odd number of links to be removed from this particular watch? I now have 10 links on the 12 side, and 9 on the 6 side. Just curious to know if the 12 side is usually where more links are taken from. New member, so thanks for answering the basics.

Hi and welcome to TRF.

First question: Is this the older Jubilee bracelet or the new one with the hidden clasp?

If it's the new one, my wife also had 3 links taken off from the original 22 links, leaving her now with 19 links.....

11 links on the 12 o'clock side and 8 links on the 6 o'clock side..........and now she has perfect centralization of the clasp when she flips her wrist around.

Thanks for the quick reply and photo, JJ. I have the new Jubilee bracelet clasp, just purchased brand new from an AD last month. There is slight movement of the bracelet, just as I like it and it stays pretty much centered. I was wondering about the inner clasp "bar" because that doesn't exactly stay centered underneath my wrist. Is that not possible when 3 links are removed?
