Is there such thing as a smooth bezel for a 16014 Datejust??
Hello-
I have a 7 million serial number SS Datejust 16014 incoming through a trade. I love the Datejust and its classic style. The only thing is that I prefer the smooth bezel to the white gold fluted bezel that will be on this watch. At any rate, every 16014 I have ever seen has the WG fluted bezel. Would it be possible to put a smooth bezel on this model? How would I go about finding one? Lastly, this watch comes on a jubilee bracelet, but I would prefer an oyster bracelet. What reference # end links and bracelet should I be looking for??? To make a long story short, I want to change my 16014 into a smooth bezel, oyster bracelet Datejust using ALL authentic Rolex parts. * By the way, buying these watches is an addiction! I now will have a Y series Polar Explorer II, a Datejust 16014, and my next is going to be a 14060 Sub( I had one and then flipped it-now I want it again) Thanks in advance to all who repond and help me out! For me the sparkle of the WG bezel is what makes that watch. A smooth bezel from a 16000 series datejust will fit it.The bracelet is 78360 end links are a few that will work.

I agree. The WG bezel is good. Why not try the watch out on an Oyster bracelet before considering replacing the bezel? It is a nice combination, where the bezel adds something extra.
If I remember correctly you need 558 end links. Best, A |
