Help me help myself

Hi all,

Well, I sold my Panerai 312 today and now have some cash burning a hole in my pocket and I need some ideas.

I am looking for a chrono or alarm watch in the $7k range. Currently considering a couple of Jaegers (Master Compressor Chrono or Master Compressor Diver Chrono) and the Glashutte Sport Evo Chrono.

Any great ideas out there? I am looking for an all-around watch (wear with suit, to the pool, etc.), either bracelet or leather, but something unique. I currently have a Rolex Sea Dweller, an Omega SMP, and a vintage Heuer Autavia Viceroy.

Thanks!
Chris

If you want to shell out a little more, take a look at a Jaeger AMVOX 1. It has an alarm, and is created in partnership with Aston Martin.

That's very nice - definitely an option. Thinking about these 2 as well: Breguet Type XX Aeronavale and Type XXI.

I would also be looking at the Blancpain Leman range (more $$$ though)

Cheers

Good idea - really like the styling on this one! If anyone has any comments on the Blancpain vs the Breguet I would appreciate it. I have heard that the Blancpain movement in the Leman range is more refined than the Breguet in the XX or XXI.

(Neither pic is mine).

I don't know much about Breguet - perhaps contact Mosco (Greg) who I know is a big fan of both Breguet and Blancpain. He's based in your area, which might be handy ( www.caliberswiss.com )

Cheers
