my lady

hey folks,

haven't really been an active member on this particular forum, but i do post on other rolex fora quite often. i do see some familiar "faces" here, so please do excuse my duplicate post you may already seen.

i'd like to share my newly acquired timepiece, r-serial 16760 gmt master 2. first of all, i'd like to thank those who helped me during the process of obtaining this watch, especially will aka "rocco1109" on timezone for his tremendous help and advice. also, i'd like to give a big shout out to the folks at the rolex service center here in san francisco, joe, justin, and giovanni. you guys are awesome!

here are some pictures of my lady

the previous owner was able to source a stick dial and put it on. i just love the thick case and crown guard. the watch comes with the 93150 bracelet. since it's old... i am wearing it on my nato strap. i just can't my eyes off her.

Absolutely lovely GMT there! Nice nato strap also. Provides a very cool contrast for sure. hum, perhaps this is something I might consider doing on my GMT II also? Thanks for sharing!

Btw, I also had my GMT II recently serviced at the Rolex SC in SF. And your right, Giovanni, is definitely THE MAN! See that your a resident of lovely Fremont also.

We frequent the area often. We shop at your Frye's Electronics store there all the time and have friends locally there also. Ever heard of Paseo Padre Parkway and Mowry Avenue?? LOL. BEST REGARDS
