Daytona white or black ? help pls !
Hi, i am new here and i am looking for some opinion. I am going to put down a deposit on a daytona, but, i can't decide whcih colour to get. Is there any price difference between the two ? They selling it for 11500 CND here. Is the price too expensive. Can someone please post up a close pic of both the white and black dial ? Thanks in advance.

There shouldn't be a price difference between the two, at least not in your part of the world (in some countries in Asia, the black dial commands a slight premium).
Personally, I prefer the white dial because I think it's easier to read. Good luck and congrats on getting a great watch! |

I prefer the white, but that's partly because I have three black face watches. If I could only have one Rolex, it would be black. Still I really like the look of the white.

White looks better in my opinion and makes the watch different from my other Rolex sport watches.

Get the white dial. Other Rolex sport watches are only available in black dials except for the Daytona and the Explorer II.

I have white, reason being that when I got mine one hardly had a choice, the AD called and you got what you got. Given a choice I would go with black. For each 10 SS Daytona's I see, only one is black.

Be a little different...
GO BLACK. As you can see by the responses so far, white is the dominant color choice. Be different my friend. Or better yet, get what YOU like.
All the best, Mark |

I agree with most of the post, white is easier to read and sets itself apart from most other Rolex sport models.

You can't go wrong with either of them. I love'em both but, white gets more wrist time than black !!

White dial as it looks great (they both do), easier to read then black, and leaves room in collection for other black dial rolexes.

I'd go white and purchase from some of the great sellers here on TRF. Good luck.

I agree. I have the white, but I love the black too. I'll get it someday. In the meantime, I prefer the white because all of my other watches have black dials.

Black or white, they're surprisingly both very very nice. I had both on my wrist a few weeks ago and I was surprised how nice the white looked.
However, I prefer black.
