The Magic of Use for Intended Purpose

All - hope everyone is well. Just wanted to share a fun story. My friend's very kind wife gave him, for his 40th Birthday, a NASCAR training day that involved an hour of instruction, plus 3 8-minute track sessions. I went along as his trusty videographer and timekeeper - and I actually got to use his SS Daytona to track his lap times.

I am a proud Milgauss owner and lover, butprobably will never (intentionally) get anywhere near a magnetic fields that tests the limits of its shielding. If I do, you all will be the first to know.

Meantime, would love to hear stories of putting the Rolex to the limits of their intended use -

I think top speed averaged 157.3.

Video is on an actual camera - will download and share!

My Explorer and I went along for this airplane ride the other day. It was a lot of fun, but I didn't look at my watch even once. That's the New Mexico desert.

I use mine every day for its intended purpose (telling the time). By the way it's 1829 BST here.

My co-worker is in Hawaii for a couple of months. I have the dial of my GMT IIc turned three clicks and I an instantly tell what time it is there in case I need to call without any mental effort. At my age I have to conserve mental energy!

Not sure what else it's good for.
