New submariner 116610 ss

Hello everybody,

just had a phone call with an AD in Zurich, Switzerland, it is actually BEYER, a house with 200 years tradition and official Rolex dealer since the very first days of Rolex.

I asked BTW when we may expect to see the new SS Sub and I was quite surprised to hear the following:

Yes, we have it already in our store, you are welcome to visit us and see them (black and hulk) in flesh.
No, you cannot take one of them with you, we have a waiting list about three months.

Thought I share this information with you, the hype has started......

Regards Tom

It amuses me to see the LV refered to as 'The Hulk'.
I wonder if it will stick in yrs to come.

Literally just popped into Ernest Jones (corner of south Molton St. and Oxford St in London) to ask to see the new Omega Liquid Metal (which they had never heard of).... and I asked when they were expecting the SS Sub C and she said "late August"..... they also had 10-15 names down for it already she said.

I want to like this watch, but I really dislike that cyclops. Also, will the new sub have the Deepsea style clasp?

My AD said July shipping date for Subs and September date for new Explorer.
Also, the 14060 is still available to order.
