Jim, I know Tudor Subs were issued to both the US and French Navy back in the 70's.

The MoD uses Subs too, birth of the 5517.

Most famous of the working Subs!
I'd get one in a heartbeat if I can only find someone to trade it with my house.

I think the pilots for the Thunderbirds were issued Turnographs at one time if I'm not mistaken.

British Royal Navy Divers were issued Subs by all accounts, they were replaced by CWC in the very early 80's I believe.

In Britain in WWII, Rolex issued a huge amount of different watches to the RAF. They were all called things like: Air Bear, Air Eagle, Air Princess, but now the only one that remains in Rolex's collection is the Air King.
They were considered huge watches at the time, and quite rugged, befitting the macho British airmen. |
