It wasn't personal, but I PMed him. I sold my watch on ebay to a guy in the Netherlands and I got something written in Dutch. I wasn't sure if I should post that kind of stuff here, but i guess it's ok.

There aren't any scams from ebay that I should be worried about are there? The guy just joined and has no feedback from ebay. I am new to selling on Ebay and just a little worried.

No worries , you can post that here I think . As long your are selling you take less of a risk , just wait till the funds are properly cleared in your bank before sending out the watch . As this guy is new , it may be a problem to pay that amount via Paypal for him . Paypal is not that easy to work with in most European countries . Only UK and Germany are fairly well set up . I doubt that the Dutch are .
Could be a "fun" bidder , you never know .

Yes I posted it here. It's been almost a month and the only offer was 5200 and the guy wanted me to ship to canada without insurance and without marking it as a watch. That is a little lower than I wanted to sell it for, plus i was not comfortable with shipping it that way.

I hope it is alright for me to put it on ebay and on here. I figured it was on here for almost a month first.

5 mins after I relisted it, it sold again to someone brand new to ebay from the Netherlands. The same thing is about to happen again. I guess I need to change the type of person who can bid to block people with Zero feedback as well as people with negative feedback.

Do you list it as a "Buy it now" or a regular auction?

If you do auction just add: Bidders with 5 or less feedbacks need to contact me prior to bidding or your bid will be deleted.

Just my opinion, but I think you would do better and reach more buyers wirh an auction instead.

I experienced this last Sunday. 0 feedback bidder from the Netherlands picked up my item on a " buy it now " . They then fished for my email addr. by asking me " how the conditon of the item was ? " After my re-sponce, they sent several fake, but passable ( Yo've got money ) paypal forms with shipping info.

I knew it was fake, as I keep close tabs on my paypal account. I did the best thing I could do and contact ebay live support fraud dept, and supply them the information.

Im sure he has closed that account down, and is on to the next on by now...... sad.

Just a thought, but you could try limit your listing to only North America and no zero feedback/or negative to the auction....Its all in the auction setup page!!
