Newbie needs Advice
Hi All - I am new to the forum and was wondering if anyone could give me some advise on a watch i am thinking about purchasing. Its on ebay- but i could probably pick it up in person. The watch looks really dirty but i think i can replace the bezel fairly easily and polish it up. I would much rater have the mid 90's model but the price seems right on the watch. Let me know what you think.

The watch is not rare or scarce.

"Rare and scarce" - Makes me wonder what else he doesn't know about the watch.
Is that rust around the bezel? |

He is also selling a blank Rolex Certificate for $500. I would be very dubious as this watch has no mention of box, tags or paperwork.
I would have a look at some of the sellers on this site. although I have not purchased from them, some appear to have good collections at very fair prices. They also have reputations to maintain. |
