Quick question for those in the know...

When will the Explorer 39mm be available and why the huge delay between the announcement and the delivery? My AD told me today that the first watches will be delivered at Christmas this year but I may not see my pre-ordered watch until Christmas 2011 as I'm number two in the queue.

Is this consistent with what others are finding? How can only two watches get delivered in that time?
