I assume this happens quite rarely here, with members from all over the world. However, I recently had the pleasure of having a cup of coffee with a fellow member who lives near me. Watch talk ensued. Must say, beyond the fact that he is a real watch expert, and quite the gentleman, it was really cool to have had the opportunity. Hope others here can have that chance. Chuck

I've been thinking about organizing a GTG here in Toronto as it seems there are quite a few members out there now!

Martin, our London GTG was, because of the exotic locale for me, truly special.

But as you say, any size GTG will always be fun.

Dan the London one was a great day, just enough AD's and Burlington Arcade before we got down to the real business of a proper old fashioned boozer. Hope we can do it again

Having been a member of numerous racing/gaming forums for over 10 years, it was unreal to finally catch up with the members in Melbourne in 2003 for our 1st face to face ilink/LAN in Melbourne

We all attended the GP on the Sunday then caught up for dinner and drinks after.....................night carried on till the wee hours

Guys came from all over the globe, NZ, Ireland, England, all over Aust and in more recent times, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Singapore. That turned out to be an annual event till some of us retired from the sport.

The Vic's did come over to WA to return the favour and so did the Germans and Danes, luckily we had the home ground advantage

Look forward to my 1st TRF GTG

The annual NY GTG is usually around May 15-18.

I've met quite a few now, either through business or the London GTG - found it exceptionally easy to get on with everyone as well
