I sent the seller an e-mail today, I didn't tell him it was me that reported him but I think he will guess, I was polite but to the point....here's what I wrote to him.... Tony, Thanks for the e-mails......however, I think I know why the former buyer returned your watch telling you it was fake......there are numerous things wrong with it that I can spot just from the photographs in the listing without actually holding the watch in my hand.....I already own a 79280 and a 79260 by the way, I do know what I am talking about having owned Rolex and Tudor wathches for almost 24 years.... 1. All Tudors of this model have lug holes (where the spring bars hold the bracelet to the watch head), your watch case has none. 2. All Tudors (and Rolex) watches have the serial numbers and models numbers engraved at 6 and 12 o'clock between the lugs (behind the bracelet end links) on the side of the case, if there are no numbers then they have either been removed (you decide why) or if they were not there to start with which suggests that the case is not authentic. 3. All Tudors of this model (79280) do not have the 130 marking on the bezel.....your does... 4. All Tudors of this model (and 79260 & 79270) fitted with the Tudor Jubilee bracelet are fitted with bracelets with 14 links, 6 links at the 6 o'clock side and 8 links at the 12 o'clock side, yours has a lot more and they are the wrong shape completely for this model, I assume the bracelet is from another Tudor model or is not authentic. 5. All Tudor Jubilee bracelets fitted to this model have 7 adjustment holes in the bracelet clasp, yours only has 5 and the clasp looks far too short. 6. All Tudors of this model have a case back enraved "Tudor Prince Geneva" on the outside face.....yours does not, also the inside of the case back looks wrong, I would guess it is either from a Rolex watch or is not authentic. 7. All Tudors of this model are fitted with a totally flat synthetic sapphire crystal but yours (you state) is fitted with a "curved" crystal, this cannot be authentic and would compromise the watch's waterproof integrity. 8. All Tudors of this model fitted with a Jubilee bracelet have bracelets made of 100% stainless steel, there is no "18k silver" (as you state) included in them, the central links are polished 316 stainless steel, this could be a mis-understanding on your part. 9. The end links on the bracelet fitted to your watch are totally wrong, they should be solid and the identification number stamped on the inside....these are folded steel and bear the wrong number. I wish you luck with your sale, but I think you can guess it will not be me buying, I would also add if you do sell to someone who knows a little about Tudor watches and has bid for your item a little to hastily, I think you can fully expect to have another return on your hands..... Regards, Bill
