Do you find yourself watching a TV program just 'cause there's a Rolex in it?
I do......................."Two and a Half Men" is one of my favourites just 'cause Charlie Sheen wears that stunning Platinum YM right through the series. Cheers - JJ

Not so much because of Rolex, but because of watches. My girlfriend gets upset with me as I pause the action and rewind to try to get a better look to attempt to identify what watch is being worn. Wow, the NBA finals was a cornucopia of watches.

Yes folks, I too must admit... I can relate! And JJ, I also noticed the watch in that.. AND there was an episode where another Rolex appears.. it was a gift from woman that also provided Charlie with that piano..? Haha.. I saw this episode a year or more ago so I hope I did not spoil it? The 2nd watch went to Charlie's brother.. who was QUITE excited to get this gift..

One of the funniest shows but we get a lot of repeats - fortunately.

I watched an entire uninteresting episode of Good Eats awhile ago just to make sure Alton Brown was wearing a Sub and not a lookalike.

Other than Charlie Sheen's, aren't most of the TV rolex's fake?

I don't watch shows because there is a Rolex in it. I do my fair share of watch spotting and pausing, rewinding to indentify watches, tho...much to the dismay of my GF! haha.
The Two and a half men episode 'Alan Cousteu' was funny tho!

I don't watch a show because of the watches but I do notice the watches on the shows I watch.
Lots of Rolex action on the Food Channel; Emeril, Bobby Flay & Paula Deen, to name a few. I think I noticed "Dr." Phil wearing something large and gold, but I usually leave the room when the MILF puts that show on. |

We're only 20 so she doesn't understand me at ALL. Well, she didn't.. After we went to an AD and they put a RG Daytona and a diamond bezel DJ on her wrist she understood it, though! She still doesn't get the "technical" part, but hey, she's learning! I often stop movies or point out nice pieces anywhere we go. Grocery store, theatre, festivals.. It's pretty fun though, IMO. It tests your knowledge if you get to see a closer view and confirm your thoughts! My only problem is when I see a Daytona or a TT blue faced Submariner, but it has INVICTA on the dial. |

JJ, I always notice what kind of watch someone is wearing on TV, especially if it is a Rolex!
