Mil Sub Listing

All most done!
Item number: 140434318093

So far up to 50,000 GBP. Looks like an awesome example.
My bet is she goes to 65,000 GBP / $103,000 USD

Too bad my monopoly doesn't cut the mustard.

I think £65k may be beaten.
I have watched this one from the very start and have posted it twice already on TRF.
I find it very interesting and have had some communication with the seller, who happens to be a very nice guy.
The word on the street is that it has reached £50k, but there are some big players yet to enter the bidding.

Your in good company Michael....none of them are me either.
I'm sure my father had an old Timex lying around.
Don't think it's worth £50k though.

personally I'd say £56k is about right... given the nature of the transaction .. i.e ebay .. to an unknown seller... and the condition of the watch...

it's a £65k-£70 k retail watch from an established seller so i'd expect there to be some margin between that and what someone will pay done this way but you never know !!

Some of you may not know that Mike Wood actually went to check the watch out in person. I don't know if this link will work, but go to the bottom of page 2 on the VRF if it doesn't to read his opinion of the watch. There are some very heavy hitters watching this piece, and I believe that my be directly attributed to Mike's authentication of the piece.

Jedly's on a first name basis with most of the big hitters in the MilSub world that have commented on the thread on VRF. Suffice to say, there are several of them that will be sitting by their PCs or laptops, waiting to try and snipe this at auction's end.

Mike Wood is a class act for taking the time to authenticate this for the sellers. It's going to be fun to see where this ends at, and who the lucky bidder might be.

60600 was the winning bid. Interesting that no one tried to snipe it in the last couple of minutes.

£60,600....excellent amount for the seller.
I wonder if he will waive the shipping charge?

This number is going to go for big bucks. It's obvious that one of the bidders, has a huge collection and at least one million dollar watch. It will be interesting to see just how high that beauty will go for.

Pretty decent amount. Wonder if we'll see this one in concert anytime soon?

damned good result for the seller given the nature of the transaction... a little work for the buyer to do and he's ahead of the curve too... pretty much looks like happy people all around !!!

hmm, maybe i should put a double reference milsub on ebay and see what happens !!!:)
