OMG... what in the world is this?

Was browsing thru this site... looking at some Omega restoration work that they have done. Then this watch caught my eyes... at first I thought it was YM... but thought they mis-labeled it. Click on the picture.... SHOCKER..
Can't believe someone would do this to a sub...

It had to be fake Daytona's start at just under 10,000 no one in their right mind would take a 10,000 watch PVD it making in not only worthless but unserviceable by Rolex. It had to be a fake.

Or more than likely a toy watch in black that looks like a daytona.

I guess I forgot to mention hers was encrusted with a diamond bezel so it was probably a fake. Dont think rolex will do a daytona diamond bezel

I'm not promoting, nor do I like the look but ProHunter does a nice job. They also sell for huge money at auctions like antiquorum.

If it has the look of a YM with the specs of a sub, what's not to like?

That watch needs to be hit with a hammer, very, very hard.

The people who perpetrated that abortion are profoundly stupid. I read the write-up on this monstrosity, and it's being sold as a piece that's relatively new, while the photos show sheet-metal end-links and drilled lugs. Plus they are talking about 'plastic bezel inserts' being used until the ceramics were introduced, etc.

so... which bits did you not like JJ?

the bezel (lets assume it came from a Pt/SS YM) or the aftermarket dial or both on a Sub?
