I had no intentions of buying a Sub C.....

until my AD called my about 2 hours ago and I saw their one and only black Sub C in person. Yes, I bought it. Today is my wife and I's wedding anniversary so I don't have time to post pics but WOW is all I can say. Again, I had NO intention of buying another watch but the new Sub C really is an upgrade. I think I have been pretty vocal about not liking the cyclops but with the new maxi dial, the cyclops blends in and doesn't ruin the watch for me like I thought it would. Wow is all I can say.

If anyone is turned off by looking at the pictures of the new Sub C as I was, hold off on your opinion until you see it in person. Particularly the black one. Wow.

Dan,

Three years? That is fantastic. May you continue to enjoy your wife, and your watch.

My Black Sub-c is in layaway... 10 week countdown in progress...

I've decided to wait the 10 weeks until I see it in person... it'll make the day more memorable.

Anyways... multi-congrats in a mega way.

Well done,

Not many guys would buy their wife a Sub C for an anniversary present.

Dan,I thought you had recently posted that you had determined you were a one watch guy. It's nice to know the Rolex Bug is alive and kicking. For awhile there I thought I might have to carry on the tradition for the dan's in the world all by myself.

Congrats on your anniversary, and Congrats on your new watch.

It'll grow on you, when, I first got into this hobby five or six years ago I COULDN'T STAND the cyclops, within two years I learned to accept and appreciate it. (and within 30-40 more years my eyes will begin to appreciate it)
