AP 14790 or a SD?
I have a z serial SD and am considering trading for an AP Royal Oak Date with blue dial. Thoughts anyone? Even trade.

keep the SD. The only APs I personally like are the ROO.

Yup. A 2004 AP or a 2007 SD is at stake here ! Not sure which way to float

The AP
I'd definitely go for the AP. They are gorgeous. I would like both the sea dweller and the AP, but if I had to choose, I'd try the AP.

Actually...
After looking at your list of watches, i'd sell the PAM and buy the AP.

AP by far, the ROC's are beautiful and have a completely unique design. One of my favorite watches.

Haha Panerai was a gift that is unsellable. Keep in mind it's a NON chrono AP. Same design but non chrono. It's a blue waffle dial.

AP by a mile. I loved my dearly departed SD, but there's no comparison in my book.

Well, that particular AP is only 36mm. I can't wear anything that small.
I have an SD on my wrist right now, and it is barely big enough at circa 40mm, so my choice is completely obvious.

Thanks for the input everyone and the guidance from stopping a regret! Im going to keep the SD. I LOVE the Royal Oak Offshore Chrono's and I was trying to convince myself that the Royal Oak pictures above was close enough...but nothing can beat that classic oyster case!
