Icon20 My new green ceramic sub 116610 lv in the Uk..

Hi every one,

Thought would post a pic of my new green ceramic sub.

I was given the choice of 3 serial numbers V, random or G.

I have opted for G as Rolex Uk will only be getting approx 20 with the G serial prefix.

I hope u like it as much as I do.

The green ceramic and green dial are totally awesome, you have to see one in the wild to really appreciate it.

Will post some pics with it's black ceramic brother later as well.

I thought that the G serial is just another random serial as it is followed by 7 digits and not the usual 6 like the V, M and Z etc. Can anyone elaborate.

Maybe Goldsmiths'll get theirs in before I pick up my LN on Monday & I'll be able to compare before taking the plunge?!?

quick question on the v serial vs g serial - wouldnt the v serial be "rarer" in the future due to a potential shorter run than the new style g serial?

Of the allocation that came in from geneva more v serial numbers ( 70) were shipped, than g serial numbers( 17) going forward the serial numbers will be random,

great pix Mark!

i like the LV-C when the 2 greens are the same shade - like how it is on your indoor pix.

(very pleased with the quality of iPhone pix here!)
