First Scruff/Scrape

WOW.

My ceramic sub got its first scruff/scrape on the bottom of the braclet clasp. Im sooo pissed! damn aluminum macbook! I feel like its my first ding/scratch/dent on a new car.

I picked up the macbook and it did a slide on my clasp and i could hear it. i looked and it got a scape.

Ill provide pics later.

Will this do the trick?

Be very careful with that. I used that stuff to polish the brass for my uniform on the buckle and other brass/metal parts. It may leave other scratches. My recommendation is not to use it.

Nooooooo.
You dont want to polish a brushed surface........
Either use a Bergeon fiberglass pen or a simple scotchbrite pad followed by a very fine sanding spunge only in the direction of the grain!!!

You can also use foam "emery boards" they sell at nail salons. I had my GF pick some up for me. They work great.

I also found that I was scratching up my clasp often. As a solution, I applied a piece of "invisible" scotch tape to it. Protects the clasp from scrapes and you can't see the tape unless you inspect the clasp up close.

I suggest to try to accept the fact that there will be more scratches to come.......guaranteed.

Weak. Connery wouldn't be afraid of a couple scratches. Of course he preferred an ill fitting NATO so ...

Just leave it be and all the scratches that follow won't hurt the same. When you get it serviced Rolex will return the watch to you with no scratches. In fact they discourage any specific buffing or scratch removal because some of the metal does get removed when you remove a scratch and RSC says that all metal removal should be uniform and consistent across the whole watch
