Gfeller leather Moleskine cover.

I went a little crazy on my Gfeller purchases recently and have one too many.

It has the interlocking pen loops to keep it closed when you insert your pen. This is a really cool feature that just works great and will take a Montblanc LeGrande size pen. Probably could be stretched to a MB 149 without much trouble. This leather is so "willing". Not to mention it is a GREAT idea to keep your pen with your journal!

It also incorporates the Moleskine elastic strap feature that Gfeller is known for. So well thought out! These guys know how to engineer nice, NICE leather covers!

This cover is entirely brand new and sells for $75.00 on their site plus $7.15 shipping. I will sell this cover for $70.00 shipped and PayPal'd to the CONUS.

Description from their site:
NC.LN.PL Notebook Cover, Natural English Kip leather With Locking Pen Loop, For Moleskine© 5" x 8-1/4" Hard or Soft Cover. Pen Loop sized for pens up to 1/2" diameter - compare to Sharpie brand felt tip marker.

No overseas sales please!

PM me if you are interested.

Also, I just took one of these covers and "aged" it to a wonderful patina. This is the best leather I have ever worked with as far as obtaining the desired finish.

The story and more photos can be seen here:

Richard, I would be interested in the leather journal cover but I ask a favor from you. I would prefer to pay by personal check(I don't deal with Pay Pal) and would be happy to wait till it clears your account first. If this is okay send me a PM...

moleskine cover patina

hi Richard,

here david from the netherlands. I was wondering if you could tell me how you managed to get the leather cover to look like that. I would think you need 20 years of wear and tear till you get this patina.

would be happy if you could share this secret..

regards

david

David,

Nope! Just worked on it for about a day with some elbow grease.

Check it out.
