£4,610 for LN and £4,910 for LV

No uk discount at AD's yet but my dealer mate reckons it wont be long until they can bought for less than list at grey dealers...probably around October/November.

Prices will stay firm, Rolex willnot be increasing prices in the Uk as the pound has gained strengthened against the euro.

Demand for both models is still high, I went into a dealer near where I live and they have 35 outstanding orders for the black ceramic sub alone.

The initial delivery of black subs was just over 200 pieces.

The other issue is that dealers are tightening down on who these watches are sold to. I know of two instances where the aurium group sold ceramic subs only for the clients to sell them onto Watchfinder and watches.co.Uk within hours of the original purchase.

The aurium group has spoken to the buyers and they have been told that they will not be supplied anymore Rolex watches, in particular any sports models.

Some UK dealers have received their second black sub in 3 weeks...I was surprised to get a call from the AD asking if i wanted it having only put my name down with them a few weeks ago. I said no as i'm waiting for the LV.

Yes demand is high now but I think by the end of the year it won't be hard to pick one up for under list price.

Yes, this is what I was told when I was offered the black ceramic sub by the AD. A good thing in my opinion.

'My' AD (Goldsmiths) told me today that their allocations of all 116610's (both LN's and LV's) will be rotated round the branches....
ie: because 'my' branch got one of the first LN's they probably won't get any of the first LV's, & by the time the allocations are distributed through the chain he thinks he'll be lucky to see another of either of the new Sub's in the next two to three months.

Then again he wasn't expecting my LN until he opened the box either so...... ???

How did the Aurum group (Goldsmiths, M&W and WoS) find out that they had been sold on?

If they were told the serial numbers by watchfinder/watches.co.uk I'd guess they could track them??

Unless the Aurum group are actively engaging is some mystery grey dealer shopping, to try and find their ex stock, no grey dealer is going to volunteer that information.

Pure speculation on my part mate!

But whenever I've been considering buying grey I've always asked for serial numbers (so that I could ask Rolex for confirmation of watch/face/lost & stolen) & been told them with no problem.
(ok ok it's only been twice but both times the info' was freely given by the dealer).

I have no doubt that any good grey dealer will divulge the serial number to what he thinks is a prospective purchaser. I'm just interested to note that one of the large chain AD's feels that it is worth paying their employees to spend their time in this fashion. There is nothing they can do about it other than not to sell to that person again and no doubt there will be another to take his place. I wonder if Rolex UK have expressed their dissatisfaction in this regard and have bought some pressure to bear?
