BaselWorld 2011

Hi

Anyone planning a trip to BaselWorld 2011, I for one am planning one and am in the process of booking hotels. Intend to travel by car.

I live in the BeNeLux region, would be around 650 kilometers for me.

Cheers

I will be there at:

Fri March 25
Sat March 26
Sun March 27

It's not possible to get a hotel in Basel I guess so look at Zürich or a few kilometers from Basel in Germany or France.

Good luck.

Jocke

looks like it will be a great trip, you're doing the right thing in looking for your own hotel, those hotel ships they have are on the steep side, you could buy a very nice watch for the money they want,£2,600 for a boat/ship

Last time we went, we flew into Zurich, and took a bus from Zurich airport which will drop you off directly at the venue. Convenient IMO.
We also get to visit friends who lives in Zurich too.
Stay near the airport or the surrounding area would be handy if there are no hotels available in Basel.

I wish!
I plan on going when they expand the hall.
I think its next year or the following?

I just think it would be amazing to see Basel period but
if I am gonna do it once I want to wait till they have the bigger
show going since its already in the works.

We should have a TRF trip to Basel!!!

it is, but no one really follow the rules there....98% of the companies will not care but some security guards will ask you not to take pix of some watches though....

Hallo

To answer my own question, my experience is "nobody bothers". I have seen guys with huge cameras walking around taking fotos of the displays.

So no worries for the next session ;)
