New 116234 = HAPPINESS!!!!
Hi Guys/Gals,
Well, I had to post as I cannot contain my excitement!! I got my new Datejust today and am THRILLED! As you may recall I've been contemplating upgrading my 16234 to the new style...well I did it! I sold the 16234 about a week ago and am the proud owner of a 116234. I stuck with the white roman dial as it's my favorite but now am enjoying the new jubilee. Pure class and elegance in my opinion. The perfect partner to my Sub Date! Thanks to everyone for your advice! There's no one I'd rather share my happiness with Here are pics (not a professional photographer as you can tell!).... -Karis |

I'm with the rest of 'em (although I'm a Rolex Newbie - just got my first 16610 - D, black face like yours so your taste is obviously beyond question). That new 116234 is beautiful. With those two watches, you'll never need another one. Notice I said "need."

Karis - I am thinking about getting a 40mm for myself. I noticed that you also wear a Sub. How do you like the size? Can you post a picture of the Sub on your wrist so I can see how it looks?
Thanks Jan |

Jan, I love my Sub! I've been a watch fanatic since I was a little girl and always admired the Submariner on men, thinking 'if I was a man, the one watch I'd wear would be a Submariner'....then I grew up and realized I don't have to be a guy to wear a Sub! At least not in my opinion It's sporty, sexy, tough, and timeless! Here is a wrist shot for you. It's very comfortable, though 40mm is my limit...I say go for it! |

Thanks Karis - That looks great on you!! I am thinking about getting either the TT Sub w/Serti Dial or the YM SS/Plat in the 40mm.

Beautiful watch, Karis. I love white dials with Romans. And that new Jubilee bracelet is to die for.
Enjoy that baby and wear it in good health.
