Good luck with that! If I may ask, what is the hold up?

Why do you have to wait 48 hours? I would have bought that Hulk on the spot.

Scott / Charles - the hold up is on the other buyer this watch was "brought in" for. he hasnt been able to get to the AD in the past few days and without a deposit being made, so a dealine has been given and there is a likelihood of him not liking the green combo also

so... the wait ccontinues, and my CC is on the standby mode

(come on man, the LV-C has my name all over it )

this was my LV-C story last week if you are interested

I have a GMT-MasterIIc that I bought in April and love it but would also like to own the new Hulk. It's such a beautiful looking watch and I wish you all the best luck Eric to get your fingers on this beauty!

Thanks Eric............but not sure what to believe now. According to Tom in Switzerland, his AD quite emphatically told him that the dial was 18K Green Gold.

You'll need a blue on blue, plus a pair of two toned Subs to complete that portion of the collection!

Your wrist shot of the two watches together looks like trouble!

The watches appear to discuss freeing the other sub cousins, and using you as the "Get away wrist"!

Go ahead and tell your wife what's going on!

Good luck, Eric. I know the feeling. That same sitch happened to me in the Spring, only with another brand. The buyer took the watch, the only one that came into the US. But for a brief, shining coupla days, I thought she was mine. Hope your story has a better ending.

oh yeah.... i smell trouble

believe it or not - when i told the wife earlier (while she was at work) that i have "found" a LV-C at our AD, and she asked straight away... are we going to pick it up tonight?
man, gotta love her

Maybe it has something to do with our names, but don't you just find that "green gold" dial and the cool bezel just amazing? I sure couldn't resist when I slid one on my wrist!! Hope you get it!! Keep us posted.

That's a beautiful looking watch. For me, it doesn't really matter whether it's pure gold or aluminum coated.
I hope you'll get it.

It appears that the new LV is just as tough to come by overseas as it is here in Canada. The new LN seems to be present at most AD's. Any thoughts as to why the LV is so scarce? Did Rolex make less of them? Is Rolex testing the waters using verbal demand statistics instead of supplying stock and seeing how it sells?

My experience has been that the main distributors are unable to get stock to disperse to their country's AD's.

That being said my AD was persistant and had one of these models to me in less than a month.

By the way, best of luck on obtaining this unit.

remember reading somewhere that the production ratio between the 16610 and 1610LV was about 7:1.....

so, this may apply to the 116610LN & 116610LV also....

esm. Are you able to order the new one in, or has your AD exhausted their supply for the year?
