Best watch, work rest and play

I know its been asked before but I was thinking of maybe becoming a one watch guy.
I rotate 4 or 5 watches at the moment favouring 2 or 3 of them depending what I'm upto.
I have a manual job in a hotel and like to be outside when I can around water.
You can see what I have now though I have just sold the Breitling.
I've been tempted more than once to sell up and buy a GMT 2c but the horror stories put me off a bit and I would probably have the links brushed when they lose their shine.
I do like dive type watches though I don't dive its just nice to know that you can.
7.5 inch wrist and dont want to mutch bulk. Had a Breitling Chrono Avenger for a while. really liked it but is was a magnet for door frames.
I wear the Omega GMT often and it suits in many ways but my watch budget has risen so on the look out for THE IDEAL WATCH.
If I sold my 3 remaining watches I guess I would have around 3.5-4K for a new or used item.
Any thoughts on any brand ?

If you had to sell the 14060, definitely consider the 16610, 16600, or 116610.

Good Luck!

I'd keep the 14060 and get a White EXP-II (it has a date & GMT function). You would have 2 great options. I don't think one Rolex is enough. If I could only have one, it would be the EXP-II.

16610 seems like the logical jump, take it you don't like pcl, so 16610, 116610, 16600 or the monster dssd, you wrist size make this a real possibility.

Seems to me you've got what you're looking for in the Sub. Not sure I see the point of selling the Sub and some others just to get a Sub w/date.

I'd keep the Sub and maybe add the EXP II white face. You'd have two very different looking watches, and the EXP has the GMT movement.

Hi, I am seriously contemplating this watch (I currently have an Omega BA GMT, which I also love BTW :)) But what exactly are you referring to with the above statement? Everything I have seen here, and other forums, is positive. I appreciate any info/links you can provide. Thanks!

If it were one watch for me, it would have a date and would be a sport model. For me that leaves the Sub or GMT.

Drawtool said it before me..."I'd keep the 14060 and get a White EXP-II (it has a date & GMT function). You would have 2 great options." I do not think that you can improve on these two watches in terms of reliability of function, and supremcy of form. Enjoy in good health.

If you have a strong grip and man sized wrists, step up to the deep sea! For real though, my OP works in most situations.

For versatility it would have to be the GMT IIc. Just ignore the scratches, they don't matter.

Here's a watch that has history, quality, and value.

Omega Speedmaster Professional Moon Watch 3570.50.00

Brand new from an AD with two years warranty for under $2,700. You can't beat this.

To the OP, it would be the Sub that you already have or Speedy Pro. Dates are not a must for me.
