Newbie welcome and advice?
Always wanted older sub, finally got one.
It has all papers and books, even anchor and sticker from the back. I bought seller first, the golden rule. The watch itself appears to be pretty beaten. Seller insists that he never wanted to change any parts or polish it. Glow from markers and hands is gone, so they haven't been re touched. Pearl is broken, crystal chipped, few dings on the lugs and several scratches on bezel and crystal. On the end, it's late about 2 minutes / 24 hr. Informed the seller, he offered refund, but I really like this old 16800. I'm torn whether to send it back or keep it . All opinions appreciated. http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/x...g?t=1286626112 http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/x...g?t=1286626689 |
