Sanity turns into madness at rolex ad tt submariner comparison pics

Hi guys i think i have finally cracked, i have owned a few rolexs in my time but the new breed of ceramics, solid linked bracelets, quality clasps etc have made me lose the plot. I fell in love with the deepsea at first glance so i had to have one, then i started compairing my 8 year old blue TT sub against the new model, i knew i had to have one. Why oh why did i see the blue and black at the same time. Guess wot i couldnt make my mind up in the ADs so the manager said jokeingly you will have to buy them both, then the red mist appeared, i must have worked on him for a good discount cos i was walking away with them both. Now in the real world i know i can't keep them both, so i have to decide blue or black, i havent even took the seals off yet, i just sit in the house and stare at each one on my wrist, its a week on and i still havent decided, for your intrest they cost me £5500.00 each compaired to £7230.00 so i still think they was a bargain. When i decide i will put one up for sale for what it cost me............ what do you think guys blue or black????? and on a scale of 1 to 10 How mad do you think i am? ha ha ha

I say keep the black. The TT blue dial just isn't the same as it used to be.

I have always been partial the black TT. It has more flexibility with different colored clothing. Although I love the blue on the WG sub quite a bit.

I think deep inside, you likely lean to one more than the other...........go with your gut.

Keep them both! If you really need to sell one I would suggest to keep the black.

1 to 10? A 7. 10 would be keeping them both plus getting a SS and paying list price for them all.

I'm partial to the black though.

£7,230! Is that really what they list at now? That's over 9% more than they were.

You liked them both well enough to walk out the door with both, so for you it will be a difficult decision, however for me the black dial would be my choice.

The black one looks like it means business and the blue, well, I just keep thinking about "Baby Blue Marine."

Black 100%. My cousin has the blue, and it is a fine piece, but I have always wanted the black TT Sub. The black TT in my favorite watch out there (that I could reasonably someday acquire). I feel like it would always match better as well.

You are perfectly sane. It is the AD who is mad and all ADs have a method in their madness. For instance, more often than not ADs display both blue and black Sub side by side ( now they have a green to add ) so that perfectly sane customers like you, me and I am sure many others in this forum become insane and remain so as long as they are within the show room. In short ADs are sadists. Let them be what they are. We can't reform ADs neither they can reform us. We both need each other just like you need to keep both. Cheers. May these two Subs bring lots of joy to you.

Women don't seem to have the same sense of humor as us guys..
