Ultrasonic Cleaning
Do I need to buy an ultrasonic cleaner to keep my Rolex in tip top condition. Is Ultrasonic cleaning superior to the hand brush & Dawn that I have been using?

For the band you can ONLY if you like, there is no need to it at all but if it makes you happy go for it...
To place the watch and the band IMO it's a No No

I had a AD watchmaker advise me not to. He said if there are any problems with
any of the seals, you'll find out the hard (read expensive) way. Jack |

I'm with ultrasonic cleaning.
A 'proper' commercial ultrasonic cleaner (not the ones you by at the store or cheap on Ebay) will 'blow' the socks off soap and water. Once that soap get into the links there is little chance of getting it out any other way. Google it and you can read all about it.

Soap and water will work just fine, but you will not get deep in between the bracelet links like an ultrasonic would.
Wasn't there a photo on here of someone that put their sport watch in an ultrasonic cleaner and it stripped the bezel?

Hell, I just wear mine in the shower and wash it with shampoo while I'm washing my hair.
Shampoo rinses off cleanly and I get to enjoy wearing my DJ a few minutes more!
