Back to Rolex
Hi there;
After using few years my first two tone Rolex Submariner purchesed in 1993 (I'm the first owner and the watch is still with me) and having rotor(!?) replacement due to hitting the watch to a door handle, but not that heaviliy though, I decided not to buy Rolex anymore since I decided they do not deserve what you pay for, at least reliability wise. Since than I bought 3 IWC (Aquatimer double chrono Jan Ulrich, Aquatimer 2000mts titanium and big pilot steel)and a "Heuer Monaco" first reedition limited. Except Sub all have complete set and they are still with me. Than about a year ago I had some itching for an old, steel Sub. Than I have discovered this forum and you guys... And after a while "The" Red Sub!!! After few months resisting and denying the inevitable destiny, finally I have purchased a beutiful 3 mil Red Sub closed 6, with box and punched papers, matching dial and hands with beautiful patina and 9315 good condition bracelet. Than immediately had a new 93150 to wear my new love everyday Since than it's the only watch I wear . With different colors nato straps and 93150. Everytime I look at it I realise how a golden proportion can be match in a watch many many years ago and still this watch, no matter if it's old or new, steel or gold; The Sub is so handsome ! VERY WELL DONE ROLEX |

Here some pics of my 1680 Red. A fat font bezel with tritium pearl is on the way. I'll share the pics with you when installed.
PS: So far I was thinking this was a closed "6" |
