It's been more than two years and those watches have been flipped long time ago!

21 and a rootbeer without the bracelet. I was about to graduate and go into the Army. At the time, my choice was a Sub or the GMT w/o bracelet for $200.

I was 20 years old and saved up for a 5513 Submariner. It lasted a few months, sold it to a friend and bought a GMT Master which I sill own nearly 30 years later.

23 as a student, and I bought a Datejust SS with blue bezel.
Still have that watch, it took me quite some time to work during my student holidays and safe up the money for my first Rolex.

Regards
Tom
