Was reading Octane magazine today and there was a piece on Pro hunters.

So I checked their site. Soon as I read their opening line I was dubious..

To quote - "ProHunter is to Rolex as AMG is to Mercedes Benz"

Oh yeah?! So in that case Rolex own ProHunter do they? Nah I didn't think so. Seems a total rip off.

How can you take a Steel Daytona. Anodise a few bits etc and charge a GBP11000 premium?

They look crap if you ask me. If I saw one on someone's wrist I'd think it was a fake (Rolex).

I admire their chutzpah.

Watch out. I'm going to get a 911 GT3 RS series 2 (perfection) and paint it a non standard colour and retrim the interior. Standard? £115k Roadhunter? £250k. Bargain!!! Where do I sign?

Flash in the pan. You have to be really and I mean REALLY good to improve on perfection.
