What would you choose?
I'm a newbie here, been learning a ton and thought it would be fun to ask the forum - what would you choose: 16520 Zenith Daytona or 1680 Red Sub?
I've decided it's time for me to get a Watch (note the capital W), and I'm down to these two. I know these are totally different pieces but both look great, hover around the same price in the used market and have great heritages. So what would you choose? The forum has been invaluable and your feedback is totally appreciated! Cheers |

KC,for me the Red Sub without a blink of the eye!
But that's just me as I'm a divers fan in the Rolex line...To each their own really! Both are great watches and either would essentially be a great choice! Good luck on your decision and get ready for a plethora of answers.

Either is a great choice...
I think that the future of the 1680 Red has more potential than the Zenith Daytona which had a robust 10 year run.... Depends........ lot's of pitfalls in finding an authentic Red Sub, whereas the Zenith is more cut and dried......

Another vote for the red Sub. Cheaper to maintain in the long run.

As Larry points out, finding a 'real deal' Red Sub can be daunting. But that would be my vote - 1680 Red Sub!
