Hi Davor,

When I purchased my GMT II, the AD left the name column empty. He filled only the date column and the authorised jeweller column (already filled by Rolex I think).

So when I brought the watch to RSC Jakarta for accuracy regulation, the RSC asked me to filled my name first in the name column of the waranty paper. But after that, I do not have any problem, they regulated my watch for free.

Regards,

The warranty document could be high grade forged!

Davor, I bought my watch new 2 months ago and my AD filled it out the same way.

The AD section of the warrantee is actually stamped in black ink with the name and address of my AD.

The owner's address column was left blank.

The Purchase Date field on mine says "January 2007" My AD didn't even put the day that I purchased it on (Jan. 15th).

I filled in the address field myself in black ink.

My understanding is that the AD is supposed to fill in the entire warrantee card, but I guess that's not entirely true because as everyone here knows, I had a problem with the bracelet on my SD and when I submitted the watch directly to RSC Canada and my AD, neither one of them gave me a hard time over it. RSC Canada even photocopied the warrantee for their own files with no issues. As you know, the repair cost to Rolex was quite high seeing as they replaced the whole braclet for me.

Unless Rolex Europe is particular about these things, you should be able to fill in your own address and have no issues when presenting the warrantee to a RSC.

Many AD will let you walk out of the store with the owner info blank. RSC should honor it as long as its within the service period, the only important part is that it originates from an AD so the AD part has to be stamped.

Some people sell open paper used rolex, sometimes you will come across ones that doesn't even have the AD part filled out, with those you won't get any warranty.

When I bought my SS Sub-date last year in Feb., the AD did not bother to fill in my name and adderss.

But with the last TWO Rollies I bought (the TT Blue Sub and SD), the AD said it was now mandatory (as per Rolex, Melbourne) for them to fill in the buyer's name and address.
