I can't find the 14060
Hi, anyone knows why I can not find in the website Rolex.com the 14060 model?
In the website there are all Submariner Date. Will they stop to to make that model? Will be this the reason why they not changed the size nor made of ceramic? I think that this model is nice and at the moment the used value is similar to de Date models. Thanks friends. |

The noise has been that it will be discontinued, but I don't believe it--updated probably. It's already priced out of my range for now.
What appears on the Rolex site and what doesn't means nothing. If you really want one, any AD can order one for you or there's always the "trusted sellers" for used and gray deals.

The Rolex website is certainly not an exhaustive list of current models - they don't show anywhere near all of the different dial combinations or individual references, not like the master catalogue. The current catalogue and price list have the 14060M in, so it's likely to be around for at least one more year. If it is to be updated, it is likely to happen in March - if it is not updated, it may just be pulled from the range, because the feel of quality is way off the rest of the Rolex range. They're very difficult to sell because of the bracelet, apart from WISes, most would go for another watch from the range or a completely different brand, as it doesn't feel like a £3700 watch. I would love to see an update on it, as it does have a rich history, but it can't continue in its current form for much longer.

I do not recall that the 14060 was ever on the website. Or at least it was not on the website for the last couple of years.

And expect it will be in the 2011 brochure and several more to come Rolex should keep at least one classic.

You might be able to get some discount off, depends from retailer to retailer of course. It's a tough sell compared to the rest of the watches in the sports range in any case |

It was on the site briefly not long ago, but it was clearly a model without the recent updates.

If we're talking sales, then the Planet Ocean would win again In my experience, we can sell a couple every month, whilst the 14060M may have 3 or 4 sales max for an entire year. There is a simple reason for this: most people believe they are getting more watch for less money with the Planet Ocean, WIS or not.
