Explorer II question

I have a newer (V/3186/2009) black Explorer II.

I also just bought white Exp II replacement dial/hands...a transtitionary dial with just "Swiss" (U-A/3185/1998-99) at the bottom. The guy who sold these to me was knowledgable about Rolexes, so I listened to his advice that the "Swiss" Exp II dial will fit my "V" watch.

Since I do not plan to actually have my favorite watchmaker swap the white for the black until next year, I wanted to doublecheck with the good folks here:

Do you think these older dial/hands will be seamlessly interchangeable with my newer watch?

Thanks for your input.
