No- you are missing the point - the other post (Nov 29th) was talking about future value, and in relation obviously to used 3186's. I was asking about current value in relation to a brand new 3186 16710.

I'll take a stab at it. Current value = what folks are paying now = $6500 to $7500 = ~20% increase over list.

Good question Speed- I love it, and intend to wear it, but wear my DSSD and Two -tone ceramic sub most of the time right now, so was considering selling depending on value

It seems that some Internet arm-chair speculators are willing to pay a little extra for a 3186 GMT 16710..
Historically, no Rolex has had any significant value impact due to a mid-production movement mod.... I expect this will be a lot like the 18,000 dollar GV milgauss spikes when it was rumored that there wouldn't be any more GV's.... Lot's of folks who will never see those prices again...... Like all things of this nature............... only time will tell.......

No--I am not missing the point--this post makes it up on the forum at least once a month--sometimes 2-3 times in the same month!! It also usually starts a 4 to 5 page battle which quite frankly gets old!! Stick around a while--and you will see. You have a nice watch there--keep it-enjoy it and wear it!!

Point of order: Can I eat popcorn and be in the movie at the same time, or do I have to choose?
