Haiku

A haiku is a japanese form of a poem. It comprises three lines, with the 1st and the 3rd line holding 5 syllables, the 2nd line holding 7 syllables. They do not rhyme and much more could be said about haikus (and actually has been said here)!

I wonder what haikus this forum can come up with! :)
There's not gonna be any rating (although compliments are certainly encouraged ;)), and there is absolutely no reason to not try to post one! Indulge yourself in the luxury of letting your mind wander for a few moments.

Here's my opening invitation to our little TRF haiku garden:

My ear against her
I can hear the sound of time:
Tick-a-tick-a-tick.

I can't wait to read your's!
