Will 3186 16570 pricing trend in line with 3186 16710?

With pending release of the new 116570, who is of the opinion that we could see a similar trend of BNIB and LNIB examples holding their price and even increasing in the short term? I still see routine examples of 16710 of M, and V runs with asking prices in the low six range, even up to and over $7k.

Can anyone comment on what the market/pricing was like back in 06/07 when the new 116710 came out? Are we in a similar position that now prior to the new release is the best time to snap one up?

I guess it's only safe to assume that there are fewer 3186 GMTs around than the EXP II which has now a few years production past the 16710's discontinuation.
