Modern Family tv show

Anyone else watch this and notice the dad (Al Bundy is how I always remember him) and his latin wife are sporting Daytona's? His looks like an SS white face, and hers looks like a YG black face with gold sub dials. Probably fake props, but still cool to me.
Bob

You both are correct and have great attention to details, like any good WIS.

Definitley noticed it! He actually wears a bunch of different high end looking watches, I saw what I thought was a Polar EXP II in one episode. It was the one where he is golfing with Manny. Besides the Rolex effect, the show is actually hilarious!

I watched Modern Family last night and noticed that they both were wearing Datonas. I've seen his wife wearing a couple of different models of Datonas over several episodes of the show.

I'd love to know if they're real or just props.

When I saw this show a few weeks back I thought he was wearing a Submariner. Anybody recall?

Well this is the first I have heard about her wearing a Rolex. My eyes have never been directed to her wrists.

Good observation!!

He Usually wears a Sub but last night it was a Datona! Maybe he borrowed it from his wife on the show.

The show is hilarious by the way, right up there with Seinfeld!

You are correct - I made the very same observation to my wife. She just rolls her eyes whenever I rewind the DVR to point out who is wearing what watch on TV.

Great show too!

Yeah, my wife wasn't too pleased when I paused, rewinded and show her the Daytona, an older Zenith-based 16520 none-the-less. He also worn IWC 7-days Port on show, and Subs.

Love that show!

I'm guessing they weren't props. TV actors usually wear their own watches, if they wear one at all.

Ditto! Bet she'd look great in nothing but a watch! Sorry, don't mean to be sexist but she is a very attractive woman.

In one episode, "Al Bundy" says to his latina wife: "I shouldn't have bought you such a heavy watch" (in reference to the YG Daytona) when she starts hitting him.
I'm more of an NBC man (30 Rock/Community) but it is nice to see a funny family oriented sitcom.
