That really is amazing. In their own right, quartz watches are as incredibly engineered as our beloved mechanicals. I never really took the time to learn - that was very interesting & thanks for sharing.
 It is funny how I am very satisfied with COSC at -4/+6 a day but yet a quartz watches can't be off more than .06/sec! Still...I don't plan to trade my Rolex in anytime soon.

Fascinating, Al. Thanks for posting this little tutorial. I wear a Quartz Casio Dive watch as a beater quite often. An excellent watch in every way!

wow, amazing. explained all in 3.33 min. very cool. thanks for sharing. and some quartz watches can be bought as cheap as $3. of course, you get what you pay for
