Sounds like a cool watch! Actually my first mechanical watch was this one, I got it in 7th grade.

The jeweler that works with my watchmaker gave it to me, he told me to play around with it. I wore it, and eventually I took out the crown to clean out the case, but right now it doesn't work. It has just been sitting in my box, I want to get it fixed one day.

That's got a really nice dial and hands. Some of these old watches have a lot of character. My first watch is from 1971, a child's timex that I still have. It runs but not well-I suspect it needs a good cleaning. ( I would try to post a pic but I have to find it first).
